    A reimagined Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is on the horizon as part of a $15 billion Capital Improvement Program that will modernize terminals, provide an elevated guest experience, create a safer airfield, improve access to one of the world’s busiest airports and provide the long-awaited connection to regional transportation.

  • Airport Conditions

    Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has prepared this Emergency Contingency Plan pursuant to §42301 of the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012. Questions regarding this plan can be directed to Viji Prasad at vprasad@lawa.org. LAX is filing this plan with the Department of Transportation because (1) it is a commercial airport or (2) this airport may be used by an air carrier described in USC 42301(a)(1) for diversions.
